Dog portraits are one of my favorite things to create. It starts with the collector's favorite photo of their pet. I grab all the details they want in the picture, i.e. style, colors, size, background, etc. I begin with a simple pencil sketch, then add in the color blocks and finally add the lines to breakdown the features and highlight the contours.
